Office of the City Manager

Michael J. Czymbor began his tenure as City Manager for the City of Hardeeville on August 31, 2015. Michael has obtained a master's degree in public administration and has acquired thirty three years of local government management experience in municipalities in Ohio, Michigan and Florida. He has served as the City Manager in Palatka and Fernandina Beach, Florida and the City Administrator in Milan and DeWitt, Michigan and Whitehouse, Ohio. He is a credentialed manager with the International City and County Manager's Association. Michael is married to his wife, Mary Beth, and has two daughters, Danielle and Gabrielle.

Matthew "Matt" Davis joined the City of Hardeeville in January, 2019. Prior to relocating to the Lowcountry he served in a variety of planning roles for several local governments, most recently with the City of Frederick, Maryland. Matt holds a master’s degree in public administration and additional graduate work in geo-environmental studies. He has acquired over 26 years of local government experience and has been a certified planner with the American Planning Association since 2002. Matt is a native of Hagerstown, Maryland.
