    John Brown began working for the City of Hardeeville in January 2023 after migrating from Newport News, Virginia. Prior to joining the City, he spent 21 years in the U.S. Navy, where he obtained invaluable experience working in positions like public works officer, construction manager, and operations officer at various places around the world. His educational background in civil engineering includes a master's degree, a professional engineering license, and membership in the American Society of Civil Engineers. As Director of Public Works, he is in charge of providing a prompt and effective response to any concerns involving public facilities, such as streets, storm water management, building maintenance, and any other public services.

    Mike Pomarico "Rico" began working for the City of Hardeeville in 2007 after migrating from Connecticut, where he had previously resided and worked for the Fairfield Police Department and AT&T. After retiring from the Police Department, Rico joined the Hardeeville Fire Department in 2008 and after retiring in 2016, he joined the public works department. He began as a supervisor but eventually worked his way up to operations manager, which is where he is currently.
